2. Insert the head of the lock (where the combination is) through the eye hole provided.

3. Pull the head of the lock towards you until there is a tight wrapping of the cord around the table leg/base.

Unlocking and locking your cable lock:

Note: The IT Department will provide a preset combination of the lock before distributing them.

1. Rotate the numbers until the match the provided combination on your lock.

2. Insert the rotating head into the side of the computer with a locking port.

3. Release the button and spin the numbers around to prevent theft.

In Case You Forgot Your Combination:

Known Serial:

1. Check the yellow silicone cable organizer attached to your cable or if there is an engraved serial number starting with “CL” on the head of the lock itself or the silicone cable organizer.

2. If so, please submit a help desk ticket to IT with the title: “CABLE LOCK SERIAL CL####” and we will verify if your cable lock matches you before sending the combination.

Unknown Serial:

1. If your cable lock does not have a serial number written/engraved on it, please submit a help desk ticket to IT with the title: “CABLE LOCK UNKNOWN SERIAL” and we will check if your lock is associated with your name and combination.

2. We will then engrave a serial number on your lock and reset and assign the combination.
