Overview:


This article will walk you through on how to activate LastPass SSO for your account


NOTE : You will need to do the process using Google Chrome

NOTE : Make sure you know your LastPass Master password before logging out



Activating LastPass SSO

  1. Log out of the LastPass Browser extension if you're currently logged in.
  2. Log in with your existing username and Master Password via the LastPass web browser extension only.
  3. You'll be asked to enter your "Old Master Password", which is the password you use currently to log in to LastPass.
  4. A progress bar is displayed to indicate that your LastPass Vault is being re-encrypted.
  5. Once completed, close and open your Chrome and IE browsers.
  6. Once complete, you must log in once again via the LastPass web browser extension. (When you login, it should recognize that your email is part of the firm and the password entry should disappear. FOLLOW the instructions below IF this ISN'T the case)
    1. Press of the 3 dots on the right corner of the search bar of chrome. The navigation bar should pop up and you are going to click history twice.
    2. A new tab should open and you will click on Clear Browsing Data on the left side of the screen
    3. Another tab should appear and the entries should be Time Range: All Time, Browsing History should be unchecked, Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files should be checked.(Match your screen with this sample) And then press Clear Data                                                                                                                                                     
    4. Then exit out the tab and open a new tab. In the web search, type chrome://resart  (Once finished go back to Step 5)  
  7. You are redirected to your company's login page, where you can finish signing in to LastPass using your firm email and Windows password
