Overview:


This article will explain how to check your computer is connected to internet without logging into your computer. This is necessary for the computer to still receive updates or policies as a internet connection is needed to be identified and then received.


Checking internet connection:

  1.   Turn on your computer and click on the lock screen 

  2. Look for the Wifi icon and select it to view all Wifi connections. 

  3. Select your respective wifi connection and confirm that your are "Connected". You will know you are connected if it asks to disconnect. 

  4. You are now connected to internet even though you are not signed in.
