Overview:


This article will show you how to update your CaseWare to properly export to GoTax.


Instructions:

  1. Save and close out of any CaseWare windows/files you have open.
  2. Open up your file explorer. In the top bar, paste the following path: L:\IT_Helpdesk\Installs-Updates\CaseWare\TaxUpdates then hit enter.

  3. In the TaxUpdates folder, find the file named "CaseWare_TaxUpdate_2023" and double click on it.                                                                            
  4. When the first window pops up, click run. Then proceed through the installation process.
  5. After installation, you can reopen CaseWare and will be able to export normally now.
